Eligibility Requirements
The American Veterans Hall welcomes those who have served and their descendants. Our membership is a bond forged in service, dedicated to the preservation of veteran heritage and the support of our local Maine community.
To maintain the integrity of our organization, we require all applicants to provide valid documentation of their service history and character of discharge. This ensures our hall remains a sanctuary for true brothers and sisters in arms.
- Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces with an Honorable Discharge
- Proof of service (DD Form 214) required with application
- Commitment to the values of service and community
- Active-duty personnel and reservists are eligible

Membership FAQ
How much for yearly member dues?
Dues are $40 a year, running from Sept 1 to Aug 31.
How much time do members need to give?
Membership is entirely flexible. You decide your level of involvement, whether attending meetings or just stopping by for fellowship.
Ready to join our post?
Absolutely. We invite all qualified veterans and their families to apply. You can select your preferred community group directly on the application form.
Can family members join?
We would love to have you. Qualified relatives are welcome to join our Auxiliary or Sons of AMVETS to enjoy fellowship and support our veterans.
